2017 Little International Livestock Show
Another successful Little I is in the books! We welomed 36 new members! New members chose to show either in dairy, beef, swine, or equine. Over the course of a month, members attened pratices to learn how to properly care for and exhibit their animal. Several old members volunteered to serve as coaches, they include Jorgie Rojas and Joe Coleman for Dairy, Cassidy Dossein, Ashley Franco, and Gregory Shoemaker for Beef, Sarah Orrell and Tucker McDaniel for Swine, and Allie Anderson and Addison Murphy for Equine. Other old members volunteered with set up and dinner. At the show a winner was chosen for each species, followed by a round robin, in which the species winners alternated showing each of the other species. This year's sweetheart is Rebekka Brown After the round robin a grand and reserve champion were declared. The 2017 grand and reserve champions were Nikki Tushoski and Harrell Phillips. Block and Bridle would like to thank Vice President, Caroline Osgood for organizing the event, all of our judges. Thank you to Jessica Emerson for the amazing photography. We would also like to thank Pam Mayo for serving as an emcee, and all of our old members, department faculty, and advisors! Without your help we could not pull off this event!
