Beef Show Clinic
November 1, 2014
The Beef Show Clinic is a service project to help beginner and novice level beef exhibitors of youth ages to establish and hone their showmanship skills. The clinic provides workshops to teach basics of daily care, animal selection and breaking, preparation for show day, and how to show a beef animal. The clinic will also provide informational session about nutrition and showmanship contests where a judge will evaluate each class and assist the exhibitors with their showmanship skills. The top exhibitors in each class will receive rewards. A lunch will be held in conjunction with the clinic and at the end of the clinic and the exhibitors will receive a fun/informational packet to take home with things to read regarding showing, beef animals, and the industry! The clinic is meant to be fun, encouraging, informative, competitive, and provide valuable and useful knowledge to the participants!
